私はおうち英語をおう４年ほど継続していますが、あまり効果を感じられていないからです

私はいつも通勤電車でPodcastを聞いている
今回は今日学んだ、今日から早速使いたいおうち英語表現があったので共有する
「それしないでって言ったでしょ＝I told not to do that」
この言葉よく使いませんか？
私は本当によく使います。。。今日朝電車で学び、早速夜子供たちに使いました笑
I always listen to Podcasts on the train to work.
This time, I’d like to share an English expression I learned today that I’d like to use as soon as possible.
“I told you not to do that.”
Don’t you often use this phrase?
I told this sentence many times in Japanese.
I really use it often. I learned it on the train this morning and immediately used it with my children at night!

今日は朝からとっても忙しかった
長女は幼稚園バスが来る直前に「トイレに行きたい」と言われ
バスに乗り遅れた
そして次女は保育園に預けて1時間後に熱があるとのことで呼び出しされた
在宅で仕事してたからすぐお迎えにいけたからよかった
Today I was very busy.
My oldest daughter asked to go to the bathroom just before the kindergarten bus arrived.
Of course we missed the bus.
So I had to take her to kindergarten by bike.
And my second daughter was called with a fever an hour after I took her to her nursery school.ol.
Luckily, I was working from home, so I was able to pick her up right away.

最近日中はまだ暖かいですが、朝晩は冷えてきましたね
子供達も鼻水たれてきました
「鼻水でてるよ！」って子供たちによく言いますよね
寒くなってきたので風邪ひかないようご注意ください
In the morning and night it’s getting colder these days.
But in the day, it is warm yet.
My kids gotd a runny nose.
We often use this phrase, don’t we?
Please be careful not to catch a cold as it is getting colder!

幼稚園の子は皆水筒を持って行っていますか？
我が家は子供に水筒は洗いにださせていますが、どうしても子供が忘れることが多く
何度も「水筒出して」と言うのも面倒なので
アレクサに定型アクションとして「〇〇ちゃん水筒出してください」と声がけしてくれる設定にしました
そのため、私が何度も言わなくても水筒だしてくれるようになりました
Do all children in kindergarten bring their own water bottles?
In my case, I let my daughter take out her water.
But she often forget to do so.
It’s a hassle to ask them to take out their water bottles again and again.
So I set Alexa to say “〇〇chan, please take out the water bottle” as a standard action.
So now they take out their water bottles without me having to say it many times.

私の娘は４歳２歳の姉妹です
やっと仲良く遊べるようになってきた・・・と思ったのもつかの間、
よく喧嘩もします
とはいえまだ幼いし、女の子の喧嘩なので
「おもちゃとられた」が喧嘩の大半です
そんな時よく使う言葉が「順番ね！」＝「take turns」です
一日に何度も使います！！
My daughters are 4 and 2 years old.
They can play with each other.
But they often fight with each other.
Of course they are still very young and they are girls, the main cause of the fight is that their toys were taken from each other.
Then I said them that “let’s take turns!”
I said many times a day.

みなさんのお子さんはおもちゃ自らお片付けしますか？
上の子が４歳ですが、言わないとお片付けしません
親もご飯の片づけが嫌なのと同じで
子供もおもちゃのお片付けは好きじゃない行為なのでしょうね
Do your children clean up their toys by themselves?
My oldest daughter is 4 years old and she won’t put her toys away unless I tell her to do so.
Just as parents don’t like to wash the dishes after dinner, I guess children don’t like to clean up their toys either.

我が家の子供たちは食べることが大好きです
ご飯なら少しお腹いっぱいがわかるけど、おやつは限りなく食べます
バナナいる？と聞くと必ず「うん」と答えます
だから我が家は子供たちの手の届かないところにおやつが置いてあります
もしおやつが手に届くところに置いてあると、子供たちは朝や親のいない間に
こっそり食べるからです
Our children love to eat!
And while they know when they are a little full of food, they eat as many snacks as they can!
Do you want a banana? I say, they always say yes!
That’s why our snacks are kept out of reach of children.
If the snacks are placed within reach, the children may sneak them in the morning or when their parents are not around.
